Patient Testimonials

Playing college soccer was my dream for as long as I can remember. I couldn’t wait to be a student-athlete at a Division 1 university. Two months before I was to head off to preseason I endured a rare injury that changed my life. After being misdiagnosed for 6 weeks and seeing many doctors who were far from confident that I would ever return to the soccer field, I was referred to Dr. B. The minute I walked into Dr. B’s office the care I received was unmatchable. He believed in me and believed that my soccer career was not yet over. He took on my case and became a life-long mentor. After four surgeries and two years of rehabilitation I stepped back onto the soccer field for the first time in 2013. Dr. B changed my life. Although his medical expertise is far and few between, it was his demeanor, belief, dedication and commitment to stand by me that I will never forget. Today I am healthy: I am able to run, horseback ride, play soccer, and do many activities that at one point were a far off dream. Finally and most importantly six years later Dr. B remains my biggest mentor- I look forward to the frequent calls and text conversation we share!

Thank you for the terrific care I have received from you and your staff since being under your care. Dr. Berberian you are very informative, and everyone in the office is always so helpful. Thank you again.

Dr. Berberian is among the rare physicians who have mastered both a caring patient-centered approach and a level of surgical skill that is so advanced; it can be viewed as true artistry.

Throughout my daughter’s four surgeries he exceeded our expectations on every level. My daughter has Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT). Like many living with moderate to severe forms of CMT, symptoms can be treated with surgery. My pre-requisites consisted of finding a surgeon with both a stellar reputation and experience/knowledge of CMT. Happily, we found Dr. Berberian and in addition to his skills and experience, his kind, considerate demeanor was a fantastic bonus!

Surgeries such as tendon transfers and osteotomies can increase strength and mobility. My daughter’s case required four surgeries – two for each foot. Each foot consisted of ten procedures broken down to two surgeries of five procedures each. The procedures Dr. Berberian performed were focused on correcting my daughter’s: forefoot deformity, cavus high arch, ankle laxity, and tendon relocation.

Selecting the right surgeon is critical. For us, that surgeon is Dr. Wayne Berberian. The level of care that Dr. Berberian provides to patients should be a model for hospitals and surgical centers to aspire to.

The recovery was (of course) challenging but the support from Dr. Berberian and his team made that year significantly easier. My daughter, who previously required the use of leg braces to walk, is now living as a full time college student in NYC and walking without the assistance of leg braces. She took charge of her recovery and Dr. Berberian’s expertise gave her a brand new pair of feet and the ability to take the ‘first step’ into her future!

…As you are aware, I am extremely grateful for the competent and compassionate treatment you have provided over the last eighteen months. After consulting four or five physicians, you were the only one to make a correct diagnosis of my condition and prescribe the proper course of treatment…

Thank you for your kind care. I hope you and your family are enjoying the summer.

My wish is that the Lord bless you and keep you strong so that you can help other people with your skills as a doctor.

I really want to thank you for what you did for me with the surgery! I am on the road to recovery and the family and I are very grateful for your help! God Bless You!

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the excellent care that you provided me during my operation last Wednesday. I was so impressed by everyone in your office and by the facilities. Above all, your confident professionalism and easygoing personality made very easy for me what might have otherwise been a nerve-wracking experience. I look forward to seeing you on the 10th for my check up.

Just to say thank you for taking care of my ankle with such an intricate operation and saving my foot. I appreciate your skill and fine reputation and thank you wholeheartedly.

We just wanted to let you know how appreciative we are for your caring for our son, Robert. Thank you again!

My sincere thanks to you for the very best medical care. Your skills and expertise are superb. You are “some kind of wonderful”. (And you have good sense of humor!)

I wanted to thank you for all your wonderful care. My foot feels great! I just spent a fantastic week skiing with my dad in Colorado. I hope you are well and thank you again!

When my husband contracted an extremely dangerous strain of MRSA I felt incredibly confused and afraid. I am so very grateful that Dr. Wayne Berberian was the surgeon who treated him over a four-month span and ultimately saved his life. It took ten surgeries to clear the aggressive infection that ravaged his foot, and each of them had to be performed meticulously and with the utmost care to achieve progress in clearing it. We benefitted greatly from the combination of Dr. Berberian’s many years of experience and also his persistence and I truly have him to thank for my husband being alive and also for him being able to keep his foot. When I think back on those nerve-wracking days, weeks and months, I am so appreciative of all of the time he took to answer my questions, explain various procedures to me and the way he put my mind at ease as much as was possible at the time. To this day, Dr. Berberian always makes himself available to answer any questions or concerns my husband and I have. He goes above and beyond the call of duty and truly cares about his patients and their families.

Thank you so much for seeing me on such a short notice and being the nice gentleman you are and the great doctor you are with the best bedside manners that I have encountered. You are the best!

Dear Dr. Berberian,

This titanium-head stethoscope is a small token of appreciation for helping me recover from my broken ankle. I had your name laser-etched onto the stethoscope head so you can keep dibs on it better. Thanks again for everything.

I wish to express my deep gratitude for the wonderful surgical work you performed on my ankles. Believe it or not, when I walk I thank God for the gift of healing through you. God bless you in all your medical challenges!

Thank you for your kindness and for making my quality of life so much better.

I can’t begin to thank you enough for the fabulous reconstruction of my five toes of my right foot you did. You are truly a credit to your profession… You are intelligent, gifted by God with tools to make ugly into beautiful, you are kind, a great listener, compassionate, and I can go on and on. And ever so humble! God Bless You!

Thanks for all your wonderful care for Carly and more to come.

Thank you so much for all your kindness, time, and skill!

Thank you for your kind service.
